Club Championship

From today the registrations are opened for the Club Championship.

We decided to propose 3 men series and 2 ladies series, to reward a largest number of participants.

This competition will be played on 2 rounds, 3rd & 4th September, stroke play for 1st series and stableford for 2nd and 3rd series.

The Ladies of Royal Mougins in Valcros

The Ladies of Royal Mougins went to Valcros to defend their place in the 1st division of the Ladies Seniors Ligue PACA.

Full of optimisme we started our strokeplay rounds and luckily it was not that warm as the day before.

Next day we met Aix Marseille for the foursomes and 2 single matchplay.

Our foursome team did very very well , all square on the 18th, but unfortunately the singles had allready

lost, so they did not have to continue. This means we go back to the 2nd division, no worries we will be back next year!

We had a wonderful experience again, it shows the good quality of golf we have to play to be in such a

high division, everyone very motivated to do better next time. Thank you team!

Ladies’ Day Committee

Mr Jaap Blokker passed away

Last tuesday our resident Member Jaap Blokker passed away after a long and unfair battle, which he could not win.

Today he will be buried in his hometown Laren in the Netherlands in the presence of his family and close friends.

Our love, thoughts, prayer, and strength will go to his dear wife Els, and their children, daughter in law, and grandchildren.
