Team Training Ladies Section Winter / Spring 2010

To improve our results and to create an even better and positive team spirit,

Ladies Team training with David Berry sponsored by the Association Sportive, will commence on Thursday 28 of January, 2010.

• Training is limited to Ladies having handicaps appropriate to their participation in RMGC teams: Ladies’ Trophy (hcp 24,4), Mid Amateur and Seniors.

• In order to ensure the best use of these training sessions, the number of participants will have to be limited. Should there be too many wanting to participate, the Team Managers together with the Ladies’ Captain will have the final decision.

• The training sessions with Pro will be from 10 to 12 (11:30) o’clock:

      Thursday January 28, Thursday February 4 and 25, Thursday March 11 and 25,

      Thursday April 15 and 29.

      The sessions will be followed by playing nine holes on the course.

             All the other Thursdays we will train at 10:00 without the Pro.

             Deadline for inscription after the Ladies’ Day on Tuesday.

• Training participants will discuss and set their own goals with the Pro.

• Those wishing to benefit from this programme and qualifying to do so must commit themselves and be able and willing to play in the “external” competitions for which the different Team Managers are in charge.

• As there is now a much larger number of players with qualifying handicaps, the 2010 team selections will be based on hcp, day-to-day form, the participation in training sessions and general participation in the Ladies Days and other RMGC competitions.

• If you wish – and qualify by handicap – to participate in this programme of training, please put your name and the dates you are able to join in, on the list outside the Pro Shop.
