Captains' Cup Results

I TAKE MY HAT OFF FOR THE LADIES!!!!

2009 was a very active year for the Ladies section. Record numbers participated in the Ladies Days, and we had excellent results in our outside competitions.

All this was due to some extremely dedicated and positive Team Managers – and the Ladies’ Captain  took the opportunity, during the Captains’ Dinner, to thank:

Judith Hayes, manager of the seniors team, which was promoted to the 1^st division of the league!

Gilda Vivarelli, ladies team manager, who last year took her team to second division of the league – and, a few weeks ago, incredibly, won promotion to the 1^st division!

Laurence Guillemard, manager of the inter-club Réminiscence team, which brought this TROPHY to our Club House for the first time in the history of Royal Mougins.

This Trophy proves that we in 2009 had the strongest female team from Monaco to St. Endréol -

hopefully that will continue in 2010!

I totally agree with Judith, we had a perfect day and evening. Members made an effort to contribute in the atmosphere with their outfits. The dining-room was very elegant and full of precious details and the dinner simple, fresh and tasty. It must be very rewarding seeing us all happy. 172 players participated in our 2010 President Cup, and even with adverses weather conditions, the 43 teams made a total of 213 birdies & 2 eagles!
