Dear Members,

We hope you will join us to celebrate this year in competition, on December 26th with the Residents' trophy  in 2 balls scramble , shotgun start at 10:00.

And of course, as every year, the traditional maintenance and proshop cup, on Friday 30th, with a nice endowment for the prize giving ceremony, a barbecue at the half way house, in formula 4 ball scramble.
You can invite a staff member to play in your team.

On Sunday December 4th, scramble by 2, shot gun  at 10.00 am.

Dress code: red & white

For the give & take, each player must bring a gift, value 10 € max.

This competition will be followed by a "goûter" with vin chaud, warm drink and pastry.

Competition fee for Members: 8 € + 15 €

Royal Guest day, Saturday 19th November 2011

We are pleased to announce the "Royal Guest Day & Beaujolais trophy" competition in a 2 balls best ball format.
Royal Mougins is pleased to offer your guest's green fee, so feel free to let your friends discover your club.
This competition will be followed by a lunch.
Registration fee and lunch: 30 € per person.

 Dear Members,

 Given the present  condition of our golf course, I like to take this opportunity to outline to you the various steps which we will undertake this month to try improve this situation :

 Greens : Continuation of our fertilisation process which started mid august, and every week a light topdressing.

Aprons : Spiking and (where necessary) an overseeding of most collars of our greens in  combination with a selective use of glyphosate (=N) to fight the unwanted species present.

These zones will be marked, as glyphosate on the greens may burn certain zones, so please try to avoid  passing through these zones !

Tee boxes : Spiking and sanding of the ones which are in a proper condition, while re-doing the ones which are either in a poor condition, while leveling them during the fall and winter season. These latter ones will not be spiked due to their inferior root system and the risk to damage them more than to cure them.(especially those who are situated in the shadow parts of the course.

Fairways : Spiking and sanding of all or part of the fairways, while reseeding the ones where the grass has been severely affected (eg holes 8-13 & 14).

Bunkers : no specific program during this period.

Irrigation : Fine tuning of those zones which today pose us still some unidentified problems .
