Dear Members,

It’s almost time to say goodbye to 2014. A year in which so much happened but at the same time a year that seems to have passed by with lightning speed.

We have lost loved ones, the world is in turmoil and the weather is playing funny games with us. All we can do is keep Royal Mougins Golf Club a safe haven for its members, guests and associates.

With 2015 right around the corner, that means new goals, new challenges, new opportunities and new milestones that await us. Our aim for 2015, as it has been all throughout 2014, is to work hard on improving the golf course, the overall service level in the Clubhouse and ProShop, coming up with new formulas of entertainment, etc.

As you are aware the golf course was in pretty good shape up till the fall when we were hit by a disease called dollar spot. At the same time we changed over to a new team on the course. The guys from Celtic Golf have done a great job in trying to recover the course. Given that November was the wettest month ever in this region. We are all confident that we can offer you an even better golf course next season than in 2014.

If you're competitor focused, you have to wait until there is a competitor doing something. Being member & guest focused allows you to be more pioneering

Furthermore, since we are all worrying and concerned about the average age of the membership going up and up and the lack of new members joining we are working closely with a members committee to present you within the near future a Strategic Plan RMGC 2015 – 2020. Under the enthusiastic guidance of Pieter Schoen and with the aid of a young academic, Martijn Weener, we are developing a sound plan to secure RMGC’s future. Soon you will receive a questionnaire and we would be grateful if you could take a little bit of time to fill this out. Also Martijn might contact you to acquire further details and explanations. We are grateful for your assistance in this since Rattan Chadha, Pieter Schoen and the entire committee are convinced that this Plan will be of greatest importance for our Club.

I take this opportunity to invite you to our annual Happy New Year’s Cocktail with the RMGC staff at the Clubhouse on January 2^nd from 5 – 7 pm. Let’s toast together to a great 2015 with and in good health and lots of fun on and around Royal Mougins Golf Club. RSVP!

However I would equally be honoured to welcome you to our traditional New Year Eve Party on the 31^st of December.

The name is ‘Mougins’………..’Royal Mougins’! Number 424, licence to please!

PS. In 2015, more than before, we will look at our members as invited guests to a party and we are obviously the hosts. It’s our job to make every important aspect of the member/guest experience a little bit better. Every time again!
