Charity
Dear members,
Only two hundred kilometers away in the Italian border
town of Ventimiglia,
four thousand refugees have arrived in the past four months. With this in mind,
on behalf of Mr Chadha I invite you to contribute to a collection of warm
clothing that these war-torn people desperately need to survive the winter. We
cannot do this without your help. Please could you take the time to go through
your old belongings and pick out any sweaters, jackets, coats, blankets and
anything else that you no longer use. Having spoken to the Red Cross volunteers
in situ at the Ventimiglia holding depot, they face the largest shortages in
clothing for men and young boys from the age of fifteen. We would like to
deliver this collection to the Red Cross by Wednesday 16th September.
Please hand over clothing items at the ProShop and
Jurgen and his team will take them in for delivery.
Every little helps so let's do what we can.

Ladies Trophy
On
September 3rd the team of Royal Mougins played competition for the French
Riviera Ladies Trophy on the course of Claux Amic.
We ended on
the 6th place thanks to the good scores of Jacky Landy,
Conny
Plesman, Marie-Christine Cauda and Nella v.d. Broecke.
In the
general ranking we are now 8th place.
A big
thank-you for the 6 ladies, who played.
