The Ladies Day on Tuesday, May 18 was a little different.....

... After having played 9 holes, the 20 contestants met with the internationally renowned golf referee, Ted Patchett for a session of golf rules. The event included a visit on the course, where certain often disputed interpretations of the rules were discussed. One of these is on the 6th hole, when the ball lies close to the fence along the road. Where do you drop? Well, according to Ted Patchett it is almost impossible to drop the ball correctly there, which leaves only one solution: Go back to the tee and play your 3rd shot. The same applies along the fence on the 5th hole. A solution may be that everything to the left of the car path is declared out-of- bonds. The session ended with a pleasant lunch on the terrace, during which Ted Patchett willingly answered a number of golf rule questions from the ladies.
