RMGC Policy

Dear Members’,

As you are obviously and clearly aware the newspaper Nice Matin recently published an article about our Royal Mougins Golf Club. The badly chosen title ‘Le Royal Mougins Golf Club veut s’ouvrir au public’ did not at all correspond with our/my views. We did receive the apologies of the Editor by mail.

The article itself clearly states that we are looking to add (local) revenue; not on the golf course but in/for the Restaurant, Seminar room, and Spa.

Obviously it is still our aim to close the course to green fee players as soon as possible. The Hotel, Restaurant, Meeting room and our Spa are, however, also open to non- members and non- golfers. We have created different packages, none of which include golf (except clinics on the driving range with our Pro’s).

We will not leave the gate open of Royal Mougins Golf Club. We  will remain an exclusive pearl where the quality of service is of utmost importance. However additional Restaurant and Spa guests ensure us the possibility of delivering the services you, as members, deserve.

Furthermore I have recently decided that we no longer accept marriages and other feasts by non-members between May 1 and September 30th. This clearly states our aim to control the quality of revenue while at the same time organizing more events for members (wine tastings, happy hours, live jazz, etc, etc.). Unfortunately but obviously we will honor all prior engagements this year.

I would, with pleasure, like to explain you our strategy (aimed foremost at the well-being of our members). Please note that I am open for all your remarks, ideas and wishes as well as I am available to answer any questions.

My mobile phone number is +33 6 51 32 06 87. I am at your service at all times!!!

Wishing you a good golf-season, I remain,

Warm regards,
