Green spiking

Monday, July 1st, will be made a mini green spiking to improve gas exchange and water penetration.

We will use small hollow tines 6mm diameter with a high density of holes.

This should last only one day.

It will be followed by sandblasting (topdressing) and an overseeding in Agrostis stolonifer (Bentgrass Penn A1 & A4) always with the intention to densify or regenerate the greens.

The impact on the game will be moderated due to the increase in brushings following the operation.

The greens should return to normal after 7 to 10 days.
