Happy times are here again………………………
The winter is over, the team is happy and most of you
are back in Royal Mougins to enjoy a new season of golf and fun. We can’t wait
for the Easter weekend to begin to kick of the season 2014 with you during the
Rattan Chadha Cup. Don’t forget to reserve the dinner on Saturday because Julie
Bellaiche and the team have arranged for an evening of great entertainment ‘Montmartre style’.
Easter
is the only time of the year when it's perfectly safe
to put
all your eggs in one basket.
Another tip: April 22nd – Festive
(re)Opening of the Royal Mougins Spa. Consulting Director Christine Ohlsson and
Manager Farah van Santen have done an incredible job. Please check it out for
yourself.
Time
you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
I am also looking forward to the opening of Stéphane
Damiano’s Performance Studio on our driving range. With the aid of the latest
Trackman equipment (precision swing and ball flight analysis) and Sam Putt Lab
(putting training system) you will soon fly around our golf course. Stéphane and
his assistant will soon have an office in the lobby of our hotel where you can
meet them with any question or request.
If you wish to hide your
character, do not play golf!
Furthermore I am proud that the youngsters, trained by
Stéphane and coached by your Captain Andrew Pierce, have recently been promoted
to the 3rd Division. Way to go!
Tactics,
fitness, stroke ability, adaptability, experience,
and
sportsmanship are all necessary for winning.
For many, many reason I hope that the 2014 season will
be a truly great one for all of us. We’re here to make that happen. Don’t
hesitate to give us your ideas. We have an open mind and are at your service.
