On 23 and
24 May the team of Royal Mougins , consisting of Merete Petteroe, Marianne
Scholtes, Maari Vesanen, Ginette Griesbach, Catherine Muller and myself as
Captain, played the "Championnat de Ligue par Equipes , 1ère division
Seniors Ladies" on the course of Grand Avignon.
On the
first day after the strokeplays we ended on the 6th place and on the second day
we had to play against the team of Valgarde to stay in the 1st division .
We fought
like lions, but unfortunately we lost with just a minimal difference.
So next year we will play in the 2nd division, where in fact
according to our handicaps, we belong.
All the teammembers did their utmost in a perfect ambiance
and I want to thank them for that.
