During the very last Ladies Day of the season, it has become something of a tradition for Merete Petteroe to invite Santa Claus to Royal Mougins in order to serve “vin chaud” to all the participants. Again this year, the man in red did not disappoint Merete and her co-organizer of the day, Dany Ramsay – he actually turned up with 2 assistant Santas behind the 7th green, where the frozen ladies got their inner warmth back by drinking the piping hot wine. Delicious butter cookies were also offered and many of the contestant were so pleased that they now want to have this service repeated EVERY Tuesday throughout the year. However, the only promise Santa could give was that he will be back again on the last Tuesday of 2011.
