This memorandum serves to inform you that this month our Greenkeeping staff will be very busy with the maintenance and amelioration of our greens.
Summary of the activities:
Week 1: 3-7 August:
Verticuting twice, Seeding, topdressing and brushing of the greens. Watering (3 min) per green at least 3x / day at different intervals. No mowing !
Week 2: 8-14 August:
Watering (3min / green) at several intervals during the day. No mowing but rolling of the greens. Light topdressing.
Week 3: 15-21 August:
Watering (3 min / green) possible at several intervals during the day. Mowing at 4.5 mm depending on the success achieved with the germination. Light top dressing.
Week 4: 22- 28 August:
Watering when necessary at short intervals. Mowing at 4 mm, and subsequently to 3.5 mm (normal level) by the end of the week.
