Members,
As already planned, our greenspiking
will take place in week 11 ( March 12-16) covering both the greens and tee
areas.
They will use 16 cm long hollow spikes to
take out the old soil and replace it with sand and organic material to
accelerate and stimulate root growth.
During this week the teeing areas
will be moved foreward (into the rough) while the greens will be
wintergreens.
Holes # 8 & 10 will be closed
completely.
Depending on the weather conditions
this operation will take 1 week.
